What is the Medical Fund?

The Medical Fund ensures medical treatment will be provided to every dog who passes through the Wayne County Dog Shelter and Adoption Center, while waiting on their forever home.

In the past the Medical Fund has allowed funding for heartworm treatments, repairing broken bones, and treating various diseases among many other procedures.
